If I could put a zero star I would
If I could put a zero star I would. I paid £129.99 for a one-trip ticket from Paris to London in July 2022 (not cheap at all). The bus arrived 2 hours late in London. I not only missed my train from London to Southampton. I also missed a day of work. There is not apologies, refund or compensation from the company. The company hides behind a lame law stating that if the coach is late at departure, only then can you have a refund. Customers are really taken for fools. My advice is to run away from this company. As for me, it was my first and most certainly my LAST trip with this company.

Dreadful customer service - charged twice incorrectly, and struggling to get reimbursed
Dreadful customer service.

I tried booking tickets online, but got the following error message: "We had to refuse the payment with your provided data. Please choose another payment method or provide different credit card data. (AD04)"

I later discovered that I had been charged twice incorrectly (amounting to £55.45), and have been asking Flixbus to reimburse me the money I was overcharged. I received only one email from Flixbus asking for more information (which I provided), but have heard nothing since. I have now had to take the matter up with my Credit Card provider.

I will not be using this company again.

Flixbus has taken my money although whilst making the booking, it came up as declined
Flixbus has had the cheek to debit money from my account the same time I got the error message that my card has been declined. The contact number on their website does not connect you to an advisor. I am trying to locate them to get my money refunded to me.

Passengers left stranded in another city and delayed by more than 4 hours, offered no help! APPALLING COMPANY!
This company really needs to shut down. Appalling service! My friend was due to arrive at 2.15pm from London at Birmingham (Dudley Street) and took the service on Saturday 9th July. She was left on a bus with charging ports not working and an incompetent and racist driver. The first driver assured passengers the bus is going Birmingham and it did say it on the front of the Bus. Then the coach passed 2’oclock and the bus was no where near Birmingham, quite naturally this left passengers anxious especially those celebrating Eid and needing to be home with their families on time. At 3pm, a whole hour later the bus reaches Leicester leaving passengers confused but they were assured it’s going Birmingham. Then the driver changes and the second driver proceeds to pass to Stoke on Trent, arriving at 4.20pm and passengers begun to confront driver who made comments on the speaker referring to some passengers as “monkeys”and commenting on how kids “need to learn how to speak English”. This is shocking coming from a European country in this day and age. The driver was unreasonable, unwilling to cooperate or come to a solution and spoke rudely to passengers trying to figure out why they were taken to Birmingham and drove past. He then proceeded to tell them he’s going Manchester and if they’re going Birmingham, then they need to get off and figure it out ourselves. The ordeal of those poor passengers, most of them had their phones dead and stranded in a city an hour away from their actual destination. My friend managed to book taxis with her remaining percentage (true saviour mode) for some passengers and booked one for herself to get to Birmingham costing £100s of pounds. She reached Birmingham a whole 4 hours later and not on the mode of transport she initially booked and put trust in to drop her off safely. This is ridiculous. She was offered no help on the phone, other than being told they have already received many complaints. She was left visibly upset and shaken by the whole ordeal. You need to refund all your Passengers that boarded that bus wanting to get off at Birmingham at 2.15pm on Sat 9th July if you have an ounce of human decency left as a company because this is completely shocking to say the least. I can’t even begin to imagine how those poor passengers felt.

AVOID at all costs!! Flixbus - the worst public transport
Flixbus are the worst public transport company in the UK. They lied to all there travellers during a recent trip I took and we ended up arriving 2.5 hours later than are due time. I missed a crucial meeting and let people down. They didn’t even offer a refund to me or the full coach of travellers even though they made us all later and miss crucial things. Do not travel with them, horrendous customer service too, avoid

Never ever again to cross the English Channel
My original trip was cancelled just a few days before the departing date (I suspect because the bus wasn't getting full), so I changed my plans and the outbound day. A couple of days later, the new trip was also cancelled, this time just 2 days before departure, so again, I changed my plans and the outbound day.
The outbound trip took over 10 hours (only 280 km), crossing the English channel by ferry, the most painful, useless and longest way of doing so. The temperature inside the bus was not very well regulated during the trip.
The departing time of my return trip (unfortunately by ferry again) was also changed after booking, with enough time to arrive to London just after the last tube, so it also made getting home painful.
I would avoid using them again if you wanna travel from/to the UK.

abusive and violent driver trapped my hand in door
I was using the Flixbus service from Finchley Road London and encountered an antisocial, rude and violent Flixbus driver who purposefully squashed my hand in the bus door which resulted in the injury of my left hand. The bus arrived with a delay of more than 1.5 hours. The bus driver Nick has scanned my ticket and I put my two bags in the hold.
I then wanted to go on the bus with the two paper shopping bags and my small rucksack but was stopped by the driver, who said that if the shopping bags cannot walk up the stairs they cannot go on the bus. I told him that I have booked two seats to which he replied that seats are for people not for bags and that I either have to leave the bags on the street or put them in the hold or that I cannot go on the bus at all. He said he will start to count till five and I have to decide what to do and he started counting. I didn't want to put the two open bags in the hold as I was afraid the contents might be flying around in the luggage compartment when driving and also I have booked a second seat so that I could put the bags on the floor next to me. I told him that I have booked two seats and that this is ridiculous because I can put the bags on the floor next two me which is why I have booked two seats. I then tried to go up the stairs to the bus, but the bus driver stopped me and said that he now decided that I will not go on the bus and when I asked why he said that he can refuse to take anyone on the bus for no reason. He sat down on the seat next to the door and was preventing me from going on the bus. I told him that I can put the bag on the floor or in the overhead locker but he said no. He said I cannot put the bags neither on the floor, nor in the overhead locker nor on the seat because seats are for people not for bags. I then told him that I want to speak to his manager and he replied rudely "call him" when I asked if I could have his manager's number he said "No" and he said that he was going to call the police to get me off the bus. As it was taking time for the police to arrive and the other customers wanted to leave for their destination I said I would put my two carry-on paper bags in the luggage compartment if we could leave then. The bus driver first said ok and was opening the luggage compartment doors but when I started getting off the bus, the driver immediately started closing the doors. As I was afraid he would just drive off now with my two pieces of luggage on the bus I tried to hold the door open and was asking him not to close the door he saw me and but he didn't stopped it closing and indeed closed it squashing my hand in between the door and the door frame. He was absolutely willing to cause me injury and he seemed to enjoy being rude and cruel to me.
Considering the abusive and rude way that this driver was treating me I was really afraid he would drive off with my luggage and then just bin it somewhere on the way because he showed no consideration or human decency towards me at all.
Even passers by from outside the bus were trying to talk to him and were asking him to open the door as they saw that I was injured and in distress but he refused to open the door or speak to them. He was telling them that he doesn't have to speak to anyone and that he can refuse taking any passenger on board if he doesn't want to.
He only opened the door when the police finally arrived and I was very relieved to see the police who also witnessed my trapped hand and asked me if I wanted to report the driver for assault.
I had to spend yesterday at the Emergency walk in to have my hand x-rayed as it was swollen and was and is still hurting.
I don't think I have paid for a bus travel to be assaulted, humiliated and abused. This is certainly the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered and I am appalled to see what kind of violent and antisocial people are hired as bus driver's for flixbus.
I am absolutely appalled by the disgusting and vicious behaviour the bus driver Nick. He was rude, mean and cruel to me for no reason.

Great service, on time & an absolute bargain!
Great service, reliable & an absolute bargain!
I took the service from Warrington to London Victoria and return. Fabulous service on swish Mercedes Benz coaches with air conditioning. Really can't find fault reading the other reviews. Both coaches were on time.
Each journey was £7.99!

First and last time we will travel with…
First and last time we will travel with this company. If we had read the reviews beforehand we wouldn't have travelled with Flixbus.

The Bristol to London 07.15 service arrived late and didn't leave Bristol until 07.48.

Other passengers that had booked and paid extra for seats 3A/B ... imagine their surprised to find that there were no seats. When I say no seats, I literally mean that the seating units had been removed. Frankly, why sell seats that simply dont exist (maybe they think they are an airline)?

The coach was absolutely freezing even bearing in mind its summer.

The driver was as miserable as possible...maybe, he had a bad morning or maybe miserable this is a standard requirement for flix staff?

Other passengers found that their seats were broken and had to change seats.

There are no plug sockets, the seat leg room would probably be sufficient for someone who was less than 4ft and considering this coach was considerably more expensive than other coach operators all of these points are galling.

Flixbus isn't cheap, it wasn't on time and it wasn't comfortable... but reading some of the other reviews at least the driver hasn't crashed!

The driver crashed the bus
The driver crashed the bus. Noticed he swerved a lot between Leeds and London. And then once in London he crashed the bus. We needed to disembark in North London and get the tube to Victoria. Also there is no control of passengers sitting in reserved seats and refusing to move. All in all appears a badly managed and dangerous company.

I made a booking and I had to cancel it due to personal reasons. The company decided, to not refund my money but send a voucher which I cannot use.
I would recommend to stay away from them at all costs.
